| | Office 2007 B2TR - not what it seems I reported earlier that, after updating Visio with the Office Technical Refresh, if you clicked on "About Microsoft Office Visio" in the Help menu, Visio failed. Note that the Splash screen (or whatever they call it now) did display Visio 2007 B2TR. I also had tried to load SharePoint Designer but this always failed. It appears that Office 2007 B2TR only updates the standard office programs Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc but not including Visio or SP Designer (+ no doubt Project, . .) Probably obvious but these are installed additionally to the Standard Office installation. So if you have installed Visio or SP Designer you need to download another 500 Mbytes of refresh code on top of the 500 you've already downloaded for Office. A gigabyte of refresh code is a hell of a patch. Oh sorry - Visio and SP Designer appear to work OK now - no obvious problems as yet Regards Brian |
