Outlook 2007 crashes when printing from public folder

Has anyone come accross this issue?

I have a user in my company who tries to print from a public folder in outlook that contains contacts. First of all he performs a search in the public contact folder.
When he tries to print a selection outlook stops responding, closes and restarts automatically withouth the selection being printed.

The user gets this event in the eventviewer:
Faulting application OUTLOOK.EXE, version 12.0.4518.1014, time stamp
0x4542840f, faulting module OUTLOOK.EXE, version 12.0.4518.1014, time stamp
0x4542840f, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00563e27, process id
0x12f4, application start time 0x01c9130aadaabfa1.

Any ideas would be very welcome.

I disabled the add-ins (had to launch outlook as administrator) but without any result. I performed the same actions as the user and outlook stopped working and closed.

As far as I'm aware, there should be a response already in place for that if
he goes to the Problem Reports and Solutions Center control panel.

Has he checked there?

(spoiler: The will point him to get the Office updates from Microsoft
Update.)
