| | Locking desktop icons I have very recently bought a laptop with Vista Home Premium installed. I have two desktops (users) in operation. After I have put a number of icons on the display page, they stay where I put them. However, after opening the other user's desktop and then going back to my own, I find that all my work of putting the icons where I wanted them, they have moved to different positions. This also happens in the reverse direction. Is there a way of locking them where I want them? Terry |

| | Re: Locking desktop icons this should not happen normally... You should see if you there is an updated display adaptor driver for your laptop, and then install it, because when shifting users it seems that your display is changing resolutions for a split second, thus causing this mix up of icons.
