| | Running Software at Start Up Hi All, I have an application that I want to run at Start Up but I am constantly getting a message from the Software Explorer to say that it is 'unclassified' and has been blocked from running. I'm able to run it manually ok but would really like to have it strting automatically. Is there anyway to get it 'classified' or another work around? Thanks |

| | Re: Running Software at Start Up Hi, Is DEP (Data Execution Prevention) blocking the program? Right-click Computer> Properties> Advanced system settings> Advanced> Performance> Data Execution Prevention> Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select. Place the program in the list. | Vista Ultimate SP2/Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Running Software at Start Up I believe that it is Windows Defender that is blocking it. Open WD and go to Tools/Software Explorer and see if you can enable it there. |
