I posted >>>Properties of any file it will also indicate it as such<<<

And if you cannot comprehend that then call yourself whatever you feel like. Any file Folder and if you select Properties as I posted will tell you , be it start menu or Explorer or whatever. Read and comprehend .

Hello Usama,

You can have any programs you like in your start menu - there are lots of good tutorials on this forum - here are some you may like to start with :

Start Menu - Customize

Start Menu - Pin to

Start Menu - Shortcuts

Hope this helps

Thank's there are great tutorials. But I cant find what im looking for.

Could you please tell me how to get the x86 Program Files to show in the start menu when you click All Programs?

Hello Usama,

Usually when you install either 32bit or 64bit programs, they should have an option to allow them to place a shortcut in the Start Menu and sometimes on the Desktop. If they do not, then you will need to manually create a shortcut from the program's ".exe" file and move it the Start Menu All Programs area. This tutorial will show you how to Move/Add that shortcut to the Start Menu.

Start Menu - Shortcuts

Hope this helps,
Shawn
So I have to do this all the time?

Can't I just creat a x86 folder that will have all the 32-bit files in and I wont have to keep copying and pasting?

Usama,

No, it should do this automatically for you. When you have the 64 bit Vista, the 32 bit programs will install in the "C:\Program Files (x86)" folder and the 64 bit programs will install in the "C:\Program Files" folder. At the end of the program installation it should also place a shortcut for that program in the Start Menu for the program unless you unchecked that option while installing the program.

Most of the stuff are game demos and games, testing my new PC. I did not see a option when installing Crysis or the demos.

Usama,

I was getting the feeling that it may be from a game. Games will sometimes not place a shortcut in the Start Menu like normal programs. Instead it will just place a shortcut in the "Games Explorer" window in the Start Menu. You can look at the screenshots in the examples in this tutorial to see where to look and open the Games Explorer window.

Games Explorer Link - Fix

Hope this helps,
Shawn
