| Vista ultimate 32 bit | BSoD - trouble finding solution... hi, I am having trouble fixing a BSoD problem i keep getting on my laptop. The problem arises when I have put the laptop on standby and try to wake it again. I get the following error code: 0x0000007e (0x000001D, 0x8FFA4F76, 0x969CD51C, 0x969CD218) I have tried searching the internet for a solution on the 7e error code, and I keep finding that the solution is the KB929777 is to be installed, but it says it's not relevant for my computer when trying. I have the SP1 installed through the windows update, so I am kinda running out of ideas. Anyone have any solutions to this problem? Thanks in advance. |

| | Re: BSoD - trouble finding solution... If you use Hibernate instead, does that work better? I believe this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms795746.aspx is more relevant than the KB article you referenced. -- Speaking for myself only. | Vista ultimate 32 bit | Re: BSoD - trouble finding solution... Cheers, thanks for the answer. The article you refer to are proberly more relevant, I am however not keen on trying to debug it myself. For some reason the problem has stopped by itself again. I might try and change some drivers lniked to memory, as it could be a problem with the computer saving to memory when going in to standby. |
