| Vista Ultimate x64 | BOOTMGR Compressed (slightly different that usual) I am getting the BOOTMGR Compressed error when starting up Vista Ultimate x64 I have tried to boot into the disk itself and repair but it is telling me the repair tool on the disk is a different version than my installed OS. If any of this helps these are my specs: 9800gt 4gb 800MHz ram q6600 Proccessor Also I cant access the Upgrade feature withou being on the desktop so at the moment it looks like my only option is to fresh install :/ EDIT: Its the exact same copy of Vista that I originally installed it with. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: BOOTMGR Compressed (slightly different that usual) Ok I have managed to find out what the problem is(Via google ofc) If you click off the drive into blank space below and then press next it will let you go further. Then just go onto the command prompt and type bootrec.exe/FixBoot Hopefully this should help anyone who gets the same problem as me. |
