| Vista 32bit | Windows Calendar appointment recurrence I have just started using Windows Calendar & need to programme in appointments that occur regularl. I have gone into the recurrence section, but if I put in a meeting that takes place on, say , the first Monday of each month calendar then repeats it on the same date (eg 7th) of each month instead of the same day of the week. How can I put appointments in to repeat monthly on the same day of the week & not the same date? Any help would be appreciated |

| | Re: Windows Calendar appointment recurrence View the monthly calendar. Create an appointment on the first Monday. Click the Recurrence drop box to "Advanced", set to the number of months and set the type to Months. Click the radio button for 'first Monday of the month' -- Please use the Communities guidelines when posting. http://www.microsoft.com/wn3/locales...help_en-us.htm Use the "Ratings" feature. It helps the new users. Mark L. | Vista Home | Re: Windows Calendar appointment recurrence Hello. I also have a question about the reoccurence feature. Here's my problem - and I hope I am just being a bit blind here - but I would like to have a repeated event indefinitely and be able to write specific notes for each event. For example, let's say I have a 730-900 appointment every Monday but I need to make notes at the end of that appointment to record information. As it seems now, I cannot make notes that would be specifically for that one day. Instead, if I make notes on an event that is set to the reoccurance weekly feature, then each note I write then becomes a part of every event. In short, isn't there a way to have an event reoccur indefinitely, but to be able to add specific notes into just one of those days? Thanks |
