| | Automatic stand-by Why my Vista HP automatically goes to stand-by mode after some minutes when defrag process or download.. are performing? Isn't it a little bit strange? I know you can set the stand-by timeout (i.e. 15 minutes), the hybernation timeout (i.e. 30 minutes) and so on but with my XP if defrag is in progress no stand-by is executed! And this is okay.. Any idea?! Massimo |

I know, it's right but what I can' understand is why Vista considers my PC without activity even if it's downloading something from the web.. and for this it decides to perform stand-by. Massimo |
