| Guest | Vista will not boot, question on which dvd I need to do reinstall My vista will not boot...into any mode. Safe mode, all other advanced options modes do not work either. It just loads the progress bar and then goes to a black screen with a mouse cursor. I have tried about a thousand things and have given up hope on fixing it. I recently upgraded from home basic to home premium. My question is, if I want to do a full reinstall (IE erase everything) will having only the upgrade disc work? I am in a foreign country and my parents can not find anything buth the upgrade DVD. Will it work? PS (I already have a recovery disc, and nothing on that fixes it either, it cant find any system restore points.) -- bball3212 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bball3212's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/bball3212.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-help/1049735.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
