Vista - no desktop icons yes taskbar yes rightclick

ok i have problem nothing shows up on desktop its there but it isent in explorer it says its all there . the only thing i can see is perfectly functioning taskbar and the wallpaper i can change wall paper i can drag items onto the desktop and when i check the folder the moved icons are there but nothing actually shows on desktop

i can right click on the desktop with all normal functions i also tried rightshift ctrl click and opened up command prompt but nothin works please help me

You might see of Option One in this tutorial to see if your desktop icons are set to hide.
