Vista - Changing File Position

Changing File Position


When working with files within a folder and I use back-arrow to return
to the previous folder, the file that i had previously opened appears
at the bottom of the page. How do I get that file to appear at the top
of the page? There must be a setting somewhere within Windows to do
this.
