I don't understand how the default format of Word 2007 has anything to do
with your subject line, but the default format of Word 2007 is .docx.

You should ask all questions about Word in one of its newsgroups.

microsoft.public.word.newusers
microsoft.public.word.general

| Thank you. I figured it out. The default printer was wrong!
| I did not find the groups about which you speak.
| Tks.

You didn't look.

Now fix your clock, you're posting from the future.

Word 2007 normally saves documents with a *.docx extension. (Those
files are actually a number of XML files zipped together). You can
make it save in the older *.doc format by using the drop-down box at
the bottom of Word's "Save" dialog.

Word 2007 will open either format with no problems.
