Vista USB problem

I have an USB keyboard (SVEN EL 7010) attached to my laptop. Along with
simple USB mouse it works ok.

BUT after inserting USB flash stick, keyboard stops to work (the mouse
does not care). I should unplug and plug it in again to make it work.
Not big deal, though rather annoying.

Who can help?

( 1. It is not matter of power shortage, because keyboard's luminescence still works;
2. Device manager does not show any conflicts)

Hi
Try going into device manager and uninstall all three devices, then
highlight your compter "the top of the list" right click and choose scan for
hardware changes. make sure all 3 items are plugged in all the time.
sometimes that does the trick, no promises, but worth a try.

Re: Vista USB problem

using device manager check the power consumption of the usb hub before plugging in the flash stick.
then plug it in and see if it goes up too much indicating usb power problems.

you may have to resort to a powered usb hub. if the laptop cannot provide enough power for the usb ports.

Re: Vista USB problem

If it is a Wireless than just install the driver, if it's a wired usb then see if this broken or not
