printer problem to domain's printer

Hi All,
I have a guest's Vista laptop that is not part of the domain.
I've connected it to one of our domain printers, while connecting
vista asked for username and password, so i entered one domain
username and password, and tick the remember my password. It worked
fine.

But if user shutdown the laptop and turned it back on, he could not
print anymore.
What I did was deleted the printer and re-connected again. is there
any other way to make vista remember the domain username/password so i
don't need to delete/reconnect everytime he start using the laptop?
any help would be very much appreciated.

TIA.

You forgot to tell us what version of Vista your guest is using. I suspect
it is one of the Home editions. If this is the case, then the behavior is
as expected since Home versions cannot cache passwords.
