| Vista Home | solution to windows service pack update making icons small Hi, I could not find my original post to add this fix so I have started it here, If the new service pack update reduces the size of your pages and icons, this is simply because the update has returned your display settings to default, to fix this 1, right click on your desktop 2, select personalise 3, select display settings 4, move the resolution slider to the desired setting 5, Press apply 6, Press OK my setting should have been set 1024 by 768. I did not do this fix I was helped by my daughter, so I apologize but this is all the info I have. Last edited by wallnutwhip; 10-10-2008 at 06:19 PM.. |
