| Vista x64 Ultimate | System mini-freezes on save/open dialogs I've been having some really annoying behaviour on my home machine running vista ultimate x64. My specs are: e8400, dfi p35 mobo, 4gb ram, 8800gtx, 4x 320gb in AHCI mode sometimes at random i'll get a system freeze for a few minutes when i use the file open/save dialogs, the dialogs appears empty no matter what folder i browse to and then explorer.exe freezes for a few minutes, all other applications continue to run perfectly, its almost as if explorer cant read a folder or something and locks up and then timesout before carry on. any idea what might be causing this? |
