Bypass "locked" Screen?

Is there any way to bypass the opening screen on wakeup and go right to the
desktop as in Windows XP? Only one user on the computer and the "locked"
screen isn't necessary.

Thank you

Yes.

Head into Power Options, then 'edit plan settings' (for whichever plans you
use). You'll then need to elevate to make the change by clicking 'Change
settings that are currently unavailable', and from there you'll be able to
go into Additional Settings and then Require a password on wakeup.

Hi,

You may like to check under Control Panel>Power Options> Change plan settings>Change advanced power settings- Additional settings-Require a password on wakeup = No
