| | Realtek AC'97 Audio and Netgear Issues I have Vista RC1 sucessfully up and running. I have no audio (Realtek AC'97) as the drivers/software from their site are for Vista Beta and do not work correctly on RC1 (Control Panel freezes and I get the message re: wrong drivers/software for audio). I uninstalled & will wait for RC1 version or final Vista version drivers. Also, my Netgear WG311T wireless doesn't work. I get the message from Microsoft that there will be a fix in RM1. Everything else seems good. I'm connected with ethernet cable and can wait for audio... I really like the appearance of Vista Ultimate, and it handles well on my computer. I'm dual-booted with XP Pro and that worked great the first install. |

| | Re: Realtek AC'97 Audio and Netgear Issues For me, on both builds 5600 and the new 5728 the first update that came down after installation was completed was the Realtek audio drivers. Be sure Automatic Updates is on. "Shamus" <Shamus@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:F1413A70-044A-4D99-B18E-083E3F5F52CA@microsoft.com... >I have Vista RC1 sucessfully up and running.
