| Guest | Need to display the day, date and time permanently on taskbar I need to have the day of the week, the date and the time displayed in the taskbar permanently. I would imagine lots of other users would like this too. I used to use PTBSync for this but in Vista 64 bit it comes up with"Port Talk can't be started" and the usual day date and time display it provided is unavailable. Can Microsoft provide this, or help Elmue (the PTBSync creator) modify his excellent program? | Guest | Re: Need to display the day, date and time permanently on taskbar Here`s a perfectly working clock/date program that will definitely suit your exact needs. It works flawlessly on Vista as I have it running right now. I have used it on XP and Win2K3 server with excellent results and immediately installed it on Vista, in hopes, that it would also work. IT DOES !!! Good luck ........ | Guest | Re: Need to display the day, date and time permanently on taskbar Well even with 2 rows high onmmy pc it only shows day and time. It has to be 3 rows high to show the date as well. That is just plain silly! Colin "Administrator\\jhafele" wrote: > Great point, Steve : > I forgot to make mention of that rather important point. | Guest | Re: Need to display the day, date and time permanently on taskbar Funny ! My readout is totally a " one-liner " across the taskbar. It is presently reading : Saturday 9/23/06 3:08:40 in that EXACT order. By the way, in answer to Colin`s post - I am running this application on Vista 64Bit and also have it on another machine on Win2K3 64Bit. ...... | Guest | Re: Need to display the day, date and time permanently on taskbar Use hide taskbar. I need 6 lines to handle the tasks that I need on the taskbar but it is only visible when I need to change tasks, otherwise it is gone completely and I have the WHOLE screen "Spirefm" <Spirefm@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:504419E9-4C56-4387-9E4E-70EB49B07CCD@microsoft.com... > Thanks Steve, but I don't like that because it takes up space I need when > working with photos etc. Colin > > "Steve Urbach" wrote: > >> Make the taskbar two rows high. >> The time then shows all three of its lines.
