How to: Synch my PPC

So there is no more ActiveSync with Vista and I read that the new "Sync
Center" will automatically run. Well, I've plugged my Dell Axim in and the
only thing Vista wants to sync is music from WMP. I see no options to
synchronize my Outlook Contacts/Calendar. Am I missing something???

Re: How to: Synch my PPC

nope, you aren't missing on anything. My HP rx1950 (Mobile 5.0 on it) is the
same way...

From what I have been able to figure out, this is something microsoft is
still working on.

Go to http://blogs.msdn.com/jasonlan/archi...19/762329.aspx and
scroll down the comments you will find a reg hack to solve the problem.
Jason is an MS employee so it is a safe hack (well as safe as any registry
editing can be!)

Re: How to: Synch my PPC

Hey Gordon,

Thanks for the response! The computer now sees my PPC as a PPC and opens
the SyncCenter. Now it tells me that Outlook isn't configured so I can't
synch up my Calendar/Contacts. Is this a 2007-beta issue???

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: How to: Synch my PPC

Hi! I have the same problem! I have the WMDC up but I can sync due to
"outlook has not been configured" reason....

Is there a solution for that??
