Is there virtual desktops in RC1?

If not... why?

Re: Virtual desktops

Hi,

No. Why should there be? What is it you want to do?

Re: Virtual desktops

Weell.... If somebody like me is using lots of different king of softwares +
games and so on...

I really like that I'd have one desktop w background what I am using my
business, one for home, one for gaming and so on... Then everything is its
own place rather than on messy desktop...

Re: Virtual desktops

Hi,

What is it about multiple desktops that makes it more attractive than
running multiple applications in one desktop? Not that I have anything
against it, I've used this feature in Linux and the powertoy in WinXP, but I
found no advantage to doing so. Nothing was any faster or cleaner and still
required switching between active sessions, and multiple desktops seemed to
use more system I/O in general when taxed by multiple applications and
actually slowed things down. The same can be said of using multiple logins
(FUS) for a similar affect.
