Change the order of taskbar items...

    Change the order of taskbar items...

    Hi. I have eleven open items showing on my taskbar (browser windows, files,
    etc.). Is there a way to change the order that they appear on the taskbar so
    that all similar items are together- all Word docs, all Excel files and so
    on- without closing and reopening them in order?

    Hi Silas,

    Right click on the taskbar, choose Properties and on the taskbar properties there should be an option to Group similar items or similar, (am not on a Vista machine at the moment so cannot give exact wording
