| how do I tell? | Creating shortcut to the Desktop That's my quandry. I'm sure it's really easy but haven;t managed to find a clear answer. I simply want a Desktop icon in my toolbar which will take me there; just like I used to have in the good old days. I have Outlook, media player and internet shortcut icons and they work fine. Take me back to the Desktop! Hope you can help. Thanks in advance Ogster |

It will show you how to create a "Show Desktop" shortcut that you can place in Quick Launch or where ever. Show Desktop Hope this helps, Shawn |

Click Browse, and in the window that pops up click on Desktop, then OK and Next. Do you not already have a Desktop shortcut on your quick launch bar, next to the Start orb? This is the one that switches between open windows and your desktop - follow Shawns tutorial for that. Hope it helps SIW2 |
