I am having a problem with vista when I click on a link to go somewhere from another site or email it comes up with the error and I am posting a screen shot of it hope someone can help me out here.

Try setting the default programs. Click Start>Default Programs>Set Default Programs and from there you can set the defaults for all the filetypes and protocols.

It appears you need to do this for your mail program, at least.

Alternatively, you could go into Associate a filetype or protocol with a program and set them up individually there.

Got it work with ie but would like to have it work with foxfire but it isnt in there how can I add foxfire to the defaults?

Do you mean Firefox ?

Right click Start , select Properties, click the Customise button , tick Internet connection , select Firefox in the drop down link, and OK.
