What has changed in Vista 5728 from Vista 5600 (both labeled RC1). Is it
really worth the upgrade??

Some bug fixes. The purpose of running beta software is to test it. You
have to make that choice yourself. Maybe you want to scan some of the other
threads in here that have addressed this same question?

Lots of things. Seems a bit speedier, the Network Location thing works,
Hyperlinks in Outlook 2003 mow work, you can turn off the startup sound
etc etc etc.

Thank you. However I am testing Office 2007 beta (works great on Vista)
probably can find sound hacks. Network locate sounds valuable but I have a
stable system with lots of Vista ready programs (Regrun, Avast!, 4NT,
FireDaemon <really want to test this if I have the time> and Diskstate. All
paid for BTW. Seems speedier without benchmarks - I think I'll wait until
January when I'll decide on whether to spend the big bucks. Also every
using Beta or RC1 has the Ultimate Edition, which I think will retail for
something like $399 - yikes!

Re: X64 Build 5728 Release is now Officially Released.

You can test the other editions by not entering a PK during Setup. That
will give you the choice of editions. You can only run Ultimate beyond 14
days with the PK from CPP, but you can test editions other than Ulitimate
(and some here are).

Marty:

For the first time, I noticed that a lot of the things I have filed bug
reports on have been fixed in this build 5728. But if nothing has been
bothering you in RC1, you may not notice any difference.
