though you may have hardware issues, but there really is no way for me to
accurately diagnose your computer from here. I very much doubt that it has
anything to do with your mouse. It could be a software issue (drivers,
malware) but since you are having lockups with various services, I would
start by testing your RAM and then your hard drive. Overheating can also
cause freezes.
