| | multi-part mail messages don't decode?? I received a multi-part message that would not combine and decode properly with Windows Mail (Vista Home Basic). The combine and decode function was selected after selecting the multiple parts. Box pops up indicating the order of the parts which were in correct order. Accepting this, only got a message with one of the parts as a result. The attached file was not useable. For reference, I also have an XP Pro machine running Windows LIVE Mail. This machine correctly combined and decoded the message parts into a good file. Is this a bug in Windows Mail or do I have to configure something? Thanks in advance - Oppie |

| | Re: multi-part mail messages don't decode?? I would suspect that one or more of the parts of that specific message are corrupt or damaged. I use "combine and decode" all the time with no problems. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] rgharper@xxxxxx * NEW!
