| | Moving Data files from one User id to another When running my Vista Home PC I have different user ids that are used. When logged on as the Administrator, is there any way to move files between one user id to another? Or at least from my Admin id to another? I guess I could move them into the Public folder then log onto the other id and move them into the place I want to use them. But that seems rather a crude way of doing things. I always thought the Administrator would have authority to do any task in any user id. How is that supposed to work? Thank you, Richard.. |

| | Re: Moving Data files from one User id to another Great, Thank you. Now that works better. Are there any other programs I should/need to do that to? Thanks, Rick Rogers wrote: Quote: > Hi, > > You still need to self-elevate before accessing other user profile > folders. Right-click/"run as administrator" on windows explorer. > |
