I have installed the drivers for a sound card I have called 24-Envy24 Family
Controller. It is compatible with Vista and everything works fine, but when
I boot up again it loads a High Definition Audio Device which doesn't work
and I uninstalled but keeps coming back.

Any suggestions?

Have you checked in the BIOS to see if you turned off the MOBO sound. Often
you have problems if both are enabled.
