Re: finding the iso for rc1

Have you tried using Find Files and Folders/Search to look for the ISO file?

Re: finding the iso for rc1

It is probably in the Virtualized folder and searching for it will not help.

C:\Users\You\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
Files\Virtualized

Change the info for your system then copy and paste the above path
somewhere (like the address toolbar) to get you to the Virtualized
folder and then you should be able to look for it. When I downloaded
5728, it seems the download manager opened this ffolder for me so I
could find the file.

Re: finding the iso for rc1

That is a Bug with the Akami Download Manager, Just FYI. It only occurs
when downloading from an Existing Windows Vista Installation. Try
downloading from a Windows XP Installation instead, or try using the
Microsoft Download Server instead.

Where's Vista.

It goes to a somehow 'hidden' directory.

You can find the file via Command Prompt.

Start command prompt from Start menu. Click right mouse button over the Command prompt and select "Run as administrator"

The go to c:/users/ and write dir /s vista*

You get the target directory where the vista resides. It's something like this:
c:/users/%username%/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Temporary Internet Files/Virtualized/C/Users/%username/Downloads/vista_...en_dvd.iso

You can copy the file with Command prompt to a place you can access easier.

Hope this helps.
