Aero Animation Problems

Hi there, I know Aero is enabled on my PC, as the transparency is enabled and the glass feature. I'm running Vista Home Premium 32bit with 2.4Ghz dual core processor and 9600GT card, with 2Gigs of RAM, I know that my PC can run Aero easily, but I just don't know why the minimizing / opening animations aren't working. Doesn't matter which program I use, Firefox, windows itself (folders etc) the animations just don't happen, and the windows show immediately without any fade.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance,

Jack

Re: Aero Animation Problems

Hello,

Please try this:

- Click start
- Right-click computer (in the black area)
- Click properties
- In the left of the window that appears, click advanced system settings
- Click the Settings button inside the box for performance
- Make sure there is a checkmark next to 'animate windows when minimizing
and maximizing'

- JB

Re: Aero Animation Problems

Did you do a restart or a log off and log back in? Although its not
necessary, sometimes it helps.

Is this really a problem in getting your work done?
Or are you just curious?

And what's with all the bumps?

Re: Aero Animation Problems

It's not a huge thing, but it should be working on Aero, and since it doesn't seem to be a common thing there must be something wrong
