Ive been running vista for nearly a year without problem !



but few days ago when i started task manager it blinked the following window and then nothing , every time i try to start task manager it blinks with the following dos window and nothing happens !

In addition to System restore, I would open Command Prompt with
Administrative Privileges and type sfc /scannow

Click Start > type CMD right click it > click 'Run as Administrator.

Both solutions didnt work !


i dont have a early restore point !

and then second solution , after scanning it said that corrupt files found but was unable to fix them !

ok i will try and let u know soon

these solutions didnt help , and i dont have Vista DVD !

can u upload taskmgr.exe of ur vista from system 32 folder ? i want to replace this file i think its corrupted and causing problem to taskmanager

it shows following msg after completing the scan

1.In cmd.exe type:

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt
