| Guest | Quick Launch icons moving around... I think I already know the answer to this one, but I thought I'd ask just in case I'm wrong. I've always used Quick Launch extensively, and now - with a 22" widescreen display - it's a pain when the icons shift position without any encouragement from me. I like to keep the most-used shortcuts near the centre of the width of the display, as I use a Wacom pen pad for most everything. (Yes, it's widescreen ratio too.) Is there any way at all that the shortcut icons can be 'anchored' so that they don't change position? Any suggestion greatly appreciated. (I tried locking the task bar but that doesn't seem to lock the icons....) Lesley PS: This likely happened in XP, too, but it wasn't as bothersome with a 4:3 screen as it is with 16:9. 8( |

| Guest | Re: Quick Launch icons moving around... How are they moving around when? They should generally be locked. If you are experiencing user profile corruption or crashes on shutdown, that could keep your settings from persisting. -- Speaking for myself only.
