USB Headphones not working

I have been using a set of Logitech headphones on my HP laptop that has been
running Vista for sometime. I downloaded and installed Service Pack 1 for
Vista tonight and now the sound only comes through my computer speakers when
my USB headphones are plugged in.

I checked in the Device Manager for the headset and it listed it as working
properly. Please help with any advice.

Thanks,

Kevin

Re: USB Headphones not working

Have you checked Logitech support for any possible incompatibility issues
with the SP1 update?

I have a couple pairs of USB headphones. One is of unknown origin and they
just work, plug them in they work. So I bought a pair of Logitech, plug them
in, nothing, same as you are seeing, the PC says they are working. I almost
returned them, then found that if I went to the CP and set them as default,
they would start working. When I un plug them, the speakers come back. Next
time I plug these in I have to do the same thing to make them work again.
Just another Vista thing I guess.
