Taskbar not auto-hidden?

I have unchecked "lock" and checked "Auto-hide" my taskbar.

Yesterday it worked as expected, but today the taskbar remains visible all
the time?

Re: Taskbar not auto-hidden?

Hello Sven,

You might see if restarting the computer can help. Also toggle the "Auto-hide" off and back on to see of that may reset it.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Taskbar not auto-hidden?

Thanks, I will keep an outlook.
It is not really any big issue for me, but once I decided to try how I liked
auto-hide it was a bit disturbing to see, first that it didn't take effect
until next time I started my computer (I have not seen any information to
that effect?) and now that it again longer has any effect having done
nothing else than letting the computer be switched off for some hours. (I
have toggled the checkbox many times)

regards Sven

Re: Taskbar not auto-hidden?

I have had the taskbar remain visible until I clicked on all or most of the
tasks shown on it. Very annoying if you have the 35-50 tasks I commonly
have on the taskbar.

Re: Taskbar not auto-hidden?

Yes, that could be the reason here as well.

When I started my machine again the last time the taskbar became visible and
hidden, not only depending on my mouse position but apparently also on the
state of each task. I haven't found out exactly what causes the taskbar to
hide, but it looks as if it remains visible while a task initiates (for
instance internet explorer connecting to the server delivering its front
page)?

thanks for your comments
regards Sven
