Startup Program does not Open

Using Vista Home Premium, 32 bit. Am trying to run a program when Windows
starts & am following the instructions in Help and How-to. I click Start
icon, All Programs, Startup, right-click, Open= nothing happens. Properties
indicate it is in AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.
Other programs open to the Folders tree fine.

Re: Startup Program does not Open

Have you dropped a shortcut to the app you want to run into the start menu?
Rightclick your file to run, and 'create shortcut', drag it to the start
menu and point at the all programs and startup areas till they open, and
drop the shortcut into startup. To run it without starting again, just click
it in the startup menu.

Hello Kim,

In addition to Mark's post above, this tutorial can help show you how to add a startup program.

Startup Programs - Enable or Disable

Hope this helps,
Shawn
