| | Startup Program does not Open Using Vista Home Premium, 32 bit. Am trying to run a program when Windows starts & am following the instructions in Help and How-to. I click Start icon, All Programs, Startup, right-click, Open= nothing happens. Properties indicate it is in AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs. Other programs open to the Folders tree fine. -- kim m |

| | Re: Startup Program does not Open Have you dropped a shortcut to the app you want to run into the start menu? Rightclick your file to run, and 'create shortcut', drag it to the start menu and point at the all programs and startup areas till they open, and drop the shortcut into startup. To run it without starting again, just click it in the startup menu. -- Use the "Ratings" feature. It helps the new users.
