| | User Account Picture Munged by Vista When I set a user account picture, Vista is overlaying a bright shade across the top of the image in all the displays (login, start, user account editor). Is there a way to display the image I select without Vista munging it? Thanks. -- Daniel |

You'll never miss the eyecandy, and your Quote: > computer will respond more like XP. panel had a "Enable or disable transparent glass on windows", but when I selected that link, it brought me to an option to enable or disable transparency, but disabling transparency had no effect. I also tried disabling the "aero" appearance scheme, which was equally ineffective. -- Daniel |
