Sorry if this has been asked before, but how do I get the Administrator

Thanks in advance

Re: Administrator account

Start - Control Panel - Administrator Tools - Computer Management - Local
Users and Groups - Administrator, right click, Properties - uncheck
''account is disabled" - OK -
This should do it

This enables the account, but do you know if there's an easy way to get
to the "type the username/password" login screen?

I've not been able to find that...

Re: Administrator account

I noticed a post earlier in here..

Here's an easier way..

1 Press the WinKey+R type in lusrmgr.msc
2 Click on Users
3 Right Click on Administrator and click Reset Password
4 Enter a (strong) password
5 Click OK
6 Right Click on Administrator and click Properties
7 Uncheck Account is Disabled
8 Click OK
9 You're Done!

Yes it does. What happened when you tried it? Try first opening an
elevated command prompt. From the Start Orb type cmd in the search box.
Right click on cmd.exe, run as administrator and then type in lusrmgr. Hit
enter.

You can also get to this snap in by right clicking My Computer | Manage.
It's under Local Users an Groups.
