If I hit F10 I get the PhoenixBios setup Utility tabs. The only thing that I can do there is hit Hard disk self test which after 10 seconds reads #1-07 Fail What can I do?? Will someone please help me?? If you neglected to make Recovery Disks, you can order them from HP for very little money, usually under $20. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic! | | Re: Vista blue screen of death REALLY?? Man, I barely use this computer. I got it for word processing and email only. Do you think there is any relation between the hard drive dying and my having more memory installed just prior to that? I think I will have it repaired, sell it at a loss and switch to mac. Thanks for your reply. It was greatly appreciated! -- guitargirl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ guitargirl's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/guitargirl.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-help/1080577.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
