Windows shadows stays on screen

Sometimes a window (most of the time it's from MSN's convo box) leaves its grey shadow (from the bottome of the window) on the screen and does not go away until a reboot or something. Is there a way to stop this?

Re: Windows shadows stays on screen

Fill out your system spec.
This can be caused by numerous errors, what have you done to try and solve it.
Have you tried different gfx drivers?
Next time it happens change your screen resolution, then change it back to normal.

System Spec filled. I have done nothing as yet to fix this.
I don't know what gfx is..

F5 didn't remove it.

Here's a shot of it

> Here's a shot of itHey, I've had *exactly* the same thing! I don't know what I did to make it
appear, but F5 doesn't clear it, nor does changing the screen resolution.

The only cure is to reboot. Since the last reboot (a week or so ago) it
hasn't come back.

I'm running a boringly normal destop PC (2.4G dual core Intel, 4G RAM) with
an NVidia 7600GS graphics card, and yes, I have installed the latest
drivers.

I'm delighted it's not just my machine that has the problem, although I'm
sorry I can't help with a cure.

Still, it's a small problem and a reboot will get rid of it.
