| | Windows Photo Gallery Opens with Every Program Chosen Hi: Helping a friend troubleshoot his laptop issue. Running Windows Vista. Desktop icons for program shortcuts and the program executables themselves (i.e., Word or Excel) when clicked on open Windows Photo Gallery window pane instead! Every single program does this. I tried to delete Photoviewer.dll or PhotoAcq.dll but Administrative authorization is not recognized (I am the Administrator). I downloaded AVG 8.0 but when I try to open even a downloaded program, Windows Photo Gallery pops up. I resorted to running an on-line Panda scan first (he has McCafee but the program will not run since Windows Photo Gallery pops up instead). Any thoughts or direction I should take? Thank you. |
