Vista - Strange sound problem!

I have a website which incorporates background music. The problem is I can
hear the sound on my computer work copy of the website, but cannot hear sound
when I goto the website on the internet. I first thought it was a problem
with the internet host, but later I visited my website using a different
computer and there was no problem with the sound. However, the problem still
exists when using my computer to visit my website on the internet? I might
add, that I can have experienced this problem visiting other websites with
sound on the net. Only my website?

Try clearing the IE cache.
IE, tools menu, 'delete browsing history'

I believe that it has to do with security settings in internet explorer... I
went to your site but it wanted java and active x ...

I did however hear the midi....

go to in IE >>> tools> options>> security... try putting your site in the
trusted site list or lowering some of the restrictions with the lever..

remember what you change so you can change back...

Thanks a million Burker AKA, reset the I.E. security to default values and
now have background sound again!

I still don't understand why the settings I had allowed me to hear music on
other websites, but not my own! Oh well.... I'll leave that for the gurus to
ponder.
