Vista - Make Partition in External Hardisk in Vista

Hello, i got a 320GB notebook external and i want to make 3 partition with respect to 120,120 and the rest (probably 58GB). but seems i try the disk management but still cant make it done. Can it be done in vista or any partition software can solve this??

Have you tried to make the disk use NTFS?

If your disk is still new (empty). You may delete existing partitition and
create partitions and volumes as you wish.

If you already have some files on your disk and your existing partition
spans thru whole disk, you will need some partition management software.

Ya, already using NTFS, and i try using Norton Partition magic 8.0 in my xp desktop but it seems cant, it even recognize my external as BADMBR.
but my hardisk can open and access as normal in my desktop.....

I always find Vista's disk management somewhat temperamental especially when
it comes to removable drives. For this reason I prefer to use third party
disk management tools such as Acronis Disk Director.

yeah! i agree with you coz i've solve the problem with Acronis Disk Director Suite where it works absolutely well in vista without error when i run it. And i successfully partitioned my HDD to 120GB,120GB,57.8GB.
