re: Remove Readyboost from memory stick ?

Hi

I have installed Readyboost on a USB flash drive, and now I just cannot get
the file deleted
(Readyboost).

Please tell me how to turn it off or remove.

Piet

Re: Remove Readyboost from memory stick ?

You won't be able to remove the file set aside to be used by ReadyBoost
until you turn off that feature in the properties of the drive. You will
find the icon for that drive in the Computer app on the
Start/Accessories/System Tools/ menu. Rightclick the flash drive icon and
you will be able to click Properties. The "ReadyBoost" tab will show a
'radio button' you can select : 'do not use this device' Click "Apply" and
you should have access to deleting any files on the drive. The one you are
seeing will probably already be gone.
