Delete browsing history on shut down

I have just gone from XP to Vista. On XP, I had it set to delete my browsing
history (in Favorites) when I shut the computer down. I have searched high
and low but can't figure out whether that function is available on Vista. I
have Vista Ultimate Home.

Thanks for your help
Dave

Re: Delete browsing history on shut down

I recently installed IE8 beta so I don't know if the following works in IE7.
In the Internet Options you can check a box to delete browsing history upon
exit of IE.
Something new in IE8 is the ability to run an instance of IE that does not
have cookies enabled and browsing history.

That option is available.

One can also download and install CCleaner. It will do that and a lot
more for both IE and Firefox
