Mouse tapping stops working

    Mouse tapping stops working

    I'm finding that my mouse tapping function seems to randomly stop working on
    my new HP/Vista Home Premium laptop. (ALPS touchpad.) Scroll features and
    buttons continue to work fine.
    Reboot fixes it.
    Any thoughts on what's going on?
