| Guest | No network in 5728 My network worked in all the previous versions of Vista but I cannot get it to see other computers in 5728. The Network discovery option stays on Custom and when I open it nothing is selected. I can make it Off and it will stay but when I click On it just says custom and nothing is checked. -- Sam |

| Guest | Re: No network in 5728 I have a 3com integrated LAN adapter that was detected under RC1 5600. It is not detected under RC1 5728. You may be in the same situation and have to hunt down the correct drivers for your LAN adapter. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) Quote from George Ankner: If you knew as much as you think you know, You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew! | Guest | Re: No network in 5728 I had found some other posts about similiar problems. I can get on the Internet through my LAN and router and the other computers can see me just not acess my files. I need to get files from the other computer. -- Sam "Richard Urban" wrote: > I have a 3com integrated LAN adapter that was detected under RC1 5600.
