| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | Web Page Short Cut I know I have done this before but I guess I apparently have forgotten how to do it again. I am trying to create a desktop short cut to a web site such that the shortcut retains the website icon. I can make a short cut to the url but when I do it comes up with the Internet Explorer Icon instead of the icon of the web site. I want to say that when I did it before all I did was drag and drop something and clicked create shortcut. I just can't remember where or what I drug and dropped. Any ideas? Thanks, |

Now goto your internet shortcut, right click > properties > change icon, browse to your new icons folder and choose the icon you wish to see, click on it then press OK, OK done. |

| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | Re: Web Page Short Cut Ok, Thanks all for your help. One of the issues was that I was in medium icons instead of classic icons and with that resolution it would not keep the url icon but rather default to the Internet Explorer Icon. Thanks again. |
