| | NOAA weather website cannot be reached http://www.nws.noaa.gov/er/box/ This website and all the offices in the northern state and east coast can not be reached but southern state offices can. I noticed this problem in Beta but still not fix on RC1 |

| | Re: NOAA weather website cannot be reached Works for me on RC1. Adjust your IE7 settings and see if you can get it to work. | | Re: NOAA weather website cannot be reached A month or two ago, they changed their website around. Have you tried starting over from the basic site to get the info you want? Don't use an old link, but start over. Right now I am looking at the URL below, but it may not be the one you want. http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/gra...rs/nemetro.php Otherwise, I could get to the site in XP, but not 5728. | | Re: NOAA weather website cannot be reached Go to "internet options" and select the advanced tab. You can screw around with settings there if you want. First thing I did was disable the phishing filter and enabled SSL 2.0 and other stuff like that. I don't know the magic button and you may not be comfortable enabling or disabling some of the settings. All I know is that I am able to go to this site where others aren't. Might even be ISP related, but I doubt that. Good Luck. | | Re: NOAA weather website cannot be reached I have noaa.gov weather set as one of my home pages with no problem. I set my security level for high in the internet zone, and med. high in the trusted zone. When I can't access something I really want but know the site is good, I put it in the trusted zone and leave it there if I want to keep accessing it. If I only want to access it once, I add it to the trusted zone, then remove it when I am done. I also have the IE-SPYAD list of restricted sites loaded into Internet Explorer for additional safety. Had to use the registry "Merge" feature instead of "Install.bat" on Vista, but it worked. It seems that IE settings are a big factor in IE7, and that's not a bad thing if you take the time to fine tune it... "D Rogers" wrote: > Go to "internet options" and select the advanced tab.
